Inside a Space

What else lives in a Space

Posts, polls and pins
Updates, photos and polls, with the announcements pinned to the top.
A chat for members
Every Space has its own members-only chat in Talk.
Dues everyone can see
A pool with a goal and a list of who put in what. The money moves however you already pay each other.
Gallery, Docs and Handbook
Photos from the nights, shared files and the house rules, each a tab you turn on.
Questions at the door
An Open Space can ask people up to three questions before you let them in.

A run club's members page, with a request to join and the runner's answer waiting for approval

A book club's Home, with a pinned announcement and spoilers hidden until you've read it

A supper club's Plans tab: every Friday at 7pm, with 56 followers

Getting found

How people find your group

Public and Open Spaces are listed in the Spaces directory, nearest first. Private ones never are.

You can also put a Space on the web. Someone searching for a group like yours finds its page and sees your public plans and announcements, no app needed.

Questions organizers ask

Yes. Spaces are free, with no paid plan and no ads. Joinue doesn't take a cut of your dues either, since it only keeps track of them.

Create a Space and pick the template closest to your group. It sets up the sections, like a weekly run with check-ins or a current read. Then share the invite link or QR code.

No. A standard Space is just the group: a feed, a members-only chat, plans and the member list. You can add sections later, like a weekly night, a wishlist or a gallery.

Yes. A Public Space is listed and anyone can join. An Open Space is listed, but someone approves each request. A Private Space is invite only and never listed. Search engines find a Space only if a manager lists it.

Yes, once you turn followers on. Followers hear about your public events. They stay out of the members' chat and never see the member list.

You can track them. Start a pool with an optional goal, and members record what they put in. The money changes hands however your group already pays each other.
